James P. Nealon MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and obtained an undergraduate degree in Biology from Creighton University. Dr. Nealon graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha in 1996. 

After medical school, Dr. Nealon completed a five-year residency in General Surgery at the University of Kansas in Kansas City in 2001. Following residency, he moved to Silverton, Oregon.

He maintains hospital and operating room privileges at Legacy Silverton Medical Center and Santiam Hospital in Stayton. Dr. Nealon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

When Dr. Nealon is not working, he enjoys bird hunting, fishing, and downhill skiing.
